Objet : report of money

Dear Matthew & other members of bfa

I think that you remember that in June brass 4 africa sent some money to us for emergence needs. The total amount was $1659 included $660 given to William for his transport from Butembo to Aru. And the rest of $999 was destineted to other emergency needs and down here is how it was spent.

In July we did not work on that because of the trouble and insecurity in here.

In August we planned to have a conference of all displaced pastors, evangelists catechists from different church denominations and it happened last month at oicha where I have been for 3 days preaching and encouraging people. We were two speakers, one from CECA 20 and I. The number of people in the conference was 451 and 76 people repented from their sins. The 11 different denominations who were represented are the following:

CECA 20, CECA 20 Ref, Anglican, Roman Catholique, Adventist, Assembly of God, Emmanuel, CNCA, Islam, CEPAC and CBCA.

It was really amazing to see how people are in need of the word of God.

I preached 3 times on I King 19:1-16. and my friend preached from Juges 19:1-30.

The food accommodation was given from the CECA 20 Community.

Then after the conference it was a good occasion to give $2 to each participant from the money you sent. So it was $2 x 451=$902. It was just to help them to buy something like soaps & salt.

Myself I used $20 for transport from Butembo (going & return). $70 was given to other different people in need (orphans, widows, students); $5 was used for communication on the preparation of the conference; and I am still keeping the rest of $2.

We are planning to continue with this system of preaching and teachings among displaced people in different camps (sites). And I think that when the donation from the Archbishop of Sydney will come, we will go ahead with our plans.

Many thanks and God bless.

Your brother Pastor ISE-SOMO
