Isesomo visits Langham Preachers Clubs during July – August

During July – August IseSomo is visiting Preachers Clubs in different dioceses in DRC.

These clubs are part of the Langham Preaching strategy to help train those who teach the Bible regularly as pastors, lay preachers or evangelists. These clubs encourage continuity and longer term support, and we are exploring plans for the training of trainers (langhampartnership.org/preaching/).

Isesomo’s program started in North-Kivu. The program for the next few weeks is:

July 11 Bunia
July 18 Aru
July 24 Goma
July 27 Kindu
August 2 Bukavu

Isesomo will stay in Bukavu doing evangelism among soldiers from August the 4th - 19th and hopes to be back home on the 23th August.

Mobile schools for evangelism

In June, Rev Stephane Makata, from Katanga province, wrote, "We've just finished a weeks’ pastor leadership seminar in Apolo."

The Seminar was a combined Anglican-Catholic churches initiative

A new MSE program began in Bunkeya on 13th June.

One month's bible training commenced on 16 June.
This week, students completed one weeks' practicum in evangelism.
On 21st July, the course resumes for another 2 weeks until the Graduation ceremony on 3 August.
Makata expected 28 trainees in this current school.
