Prayer requests from Baliesima Albert

Baliesima Albert8 May 2008

The following are our prayer points:

  1. Next week the Ministry of Health will be visiting the work we have so far done to prepare Kamango Referal Health Centre to be promoted as a General Refferal Hospital. The Government has promissed to Help with US$20,000.00 that we are awaiting so that we start the construction of an out-patient ward. Though there is still a lot to do, the Church has contributed to build and equip a maternity ward, an in-patient ward, and a surgical ward since 2005. Please join us in prayers so that the Goverment meets his promises to promote the Health Centre and release the money to help the Church extends and improve the health services and their quality in that specific Health Centre where the only one doctor is serving a community of more than 50,000 people.
  2. Please pray for sustainable peace in the eastern Congo to allow the Church smoothly run the different programs to help the needy people, and that the 850000 IDPS can go back to their villages to reorganise their lives.

Baliesima K. Albert is the Director of Medical Services for the Anglican Church in Congo

Mobile Schools for Evangelism Support Night

Thanks to Congo MSE Supporters.

Thanks to those who came to enjoy our fun night 5th April.

Our Congo guest, Isaac, broke down on the M4 and never made it but David Aynsley filled the gap even teaching us a swahili song and involving the audience with drums and percussion.

Thanks to those who have made donations already. We are now half way to our goal of $2,000 for pastor training in Katanga diocese in June 2008. It is not too late to donate!
