In late 2006 Graham Toulmin and Peter Bragg from Springwood made a short trip to Congo to deliver dental equipment, and meet with dental and medical workers in the Anglican Church. They had hoped to attend the consecration of the new bishop of Bukavu Bahati Bali-Busane, but with late changes of date, missed the ceremony.
New Bishop Mahati wrote on 20 Jan 2007:

I personally Bahati Bali-Busane, the new bishop of Bukavu, am very honored and fill blessed by you our dear friends in Australia as I heard your plan to come to participate to my consecration but I am sorry that the change of the date according to the situation in the country had disturbed you.
